Effective Date: 01/01/2026

Applicability Notice: this Standard Information Form for Package Travel Contracts is provided by Summits & Adventures, LLC d/b/a Beyond The Ride (“Beyond The Ride”) only for travelers who are resident in, or who make their booking from, the United Kingdom or a Member State of the European Union, where applicable package travel laws may apply to their booking. If you are not resident in, and are not making your booking from, the United Kingdom or a Member State of the European Union, this page is provided for information purposes only and does not apply to your booking.

The combination of travel services offered to you by Summits & Adventures, LLC d/b/a Beyond The Ride (“Beyond The Ride”) is a package within the meaning of applicable package travel laws, including the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 in the United Kingdom where applicable.

Therefore, you will benefit from rights applying to package travel contracts. Beyond The Ride will be responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole, to the extent required by applicable law.

Additionally, as required by applicable law, Beyond The Ride maintains or will provide details of insolvency protection applicable to bookings covered by these rules, so that payments made by Travelers are protected and, where transport is included in the package, repatriation is protected in the event of insolvency.

Key rights for Travelers booking a package:

  • Travelers will receive essential information about the package before concluding the package travel contract.
  • There is always at least one trader who is liable for the proper performance of all the travel services included in the contract.
  • Travelers are given an emergency number or contact details where they can get in touch with the organizer.
  • Travelers may transfer the package to another person, on reasonable notice and possibly subject to additional costs, where permitted by applicable law.
  • The price of the package may only be increased if the contract expressly allows it and only in specific situations permitted by law. If the price increase exceeds the threshold permitted by applicable law, the Traveler may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee. Where applicable law so provides, Travelers may also be entitled to a price reduction if relevant costs decrease.
  • Travelers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee and receive a full refund of payments made if any essential element of the package, other than the price, is changed significantly. If the organizer cancels the package before the start of the trip, Travelers are entitled to a refund and, where appropriate, compensation, as required by applicable law.
  • Travelers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee before the start of the package in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occurring at the destination or in its immediate vicinity that significantly affect the performance of the package or the carriage of passengers to the destination, where applicable law provides for this right.
  • Travelers may terminate the contract at any time before the start of the package in return for an appropriate and justifiable termination fee, subject to applicable law.
  • If, after the start of the package, significant elements of the package cannot be provided as agreed, suitable alternative arrangements must be offered to the traveler at no extra cost where required by law. Travelers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee where services are not performed in accordance with the contract and this substantially affects the performance of the package and the organizer fails to remedy the problem, where applicable law provides for such remedies.
  • Travelers are entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation for damages where the travel services are not performed or are improperly performed, as required by applicable law.
  • The organizer must provide assistance if the traveler is in difficulty.
  • If the organizer becomes insolvent, payments will be refunded through the applicable insolvency protection mechanism. If the organizer becomes insolvent after the start of the package and transport is included in the package, repatriation will be secured as required by applicable law.
